We’re Bryan and Debra Waters. We like to ride our bicycles taking the open country in for all it has to offer. We strive for simplicity and a low impact on this beautiful earth. From September 2009 to June of 2010 we rode 4,500 miles from Vermont to Mexico. We spent 5 months riding through the US and 5 months cycling around Mexico. From October 2011 to October 2012 we pedaled again. We started in Saratoga Springs, NY and we rode our bikes down the east coast to the Florida Keys arriving in January. We found a (vehicle) rideshare through craigslist that brought us to Tucson, Arizona in February 2012. From here we headed north up through Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. We wanted to be in the Pacific Northwest by late summer of 2012. We made that happen and even did a little more riding in British Columbia.
This blog serves as a travel log and a link to our friends and family and a reference for those we meet along the way. We’ll share the roads and routes we take, the sights, oddities and anything else that comes to mind. We are open to opportunities and possibilities! It is a big wide world out there and you can make it as adventuresome as you want. We have nothing to sell so thanks for checking us out!
