Living in the state of not being present

Mural spotted in Rutland, VT

I was just looking at synonyms of the word absence.  It is defined as the state of not being present.  Bryan and I have been living IN the state of not being present.  Haven’t you been there before?  It’s that small place we retreat to when needing time to reevaluate, visit with close family and friends and look at facebook (but don’t participate).  Our online presence diminished rather quickly since landing in NYC on June 10th.  Somehow, a little space from the blog felt good and gave us time to relax.  39 days later we have surfaced!

The next few posts will be the final chapter in our bicycle tour from Vermont to Mexico and back.

See you soon,

Debi
